"The Language of Love," A Short Film

  1. Thanks for posting this, Rick. It takes me back to earlier times, before we found the structures and places where gays could meet. I remember all those confusing feelings and hopes, centered upon guys who turned out to be straight.

I especially liked the line: "I want to be what is best for him." No doubt, we can all relate.

  2. RG, can I ever relate to what you write here.
I remember Brent in junior high, seeing him at the bottom of the stairs, talking to a group of friends, how beautiful and sweet and sexy he looked, that hair, that smile, that face, and being so drawn to him that, for a moment, I literally left my body and was in his arms. How great it felt to be there.
I will NEVER forget that. It scared the bejesus out of me, but it felt so right.
This short film is filled with lines that say exactly how it is. The one you identified is certainly one of them.
Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it.
